Plandescil was established in 1979 as a family-run civil and structural engineering consultancy. In 2016 we evolved into an employee-owned company and the company was transferred to an employee-owned trust. More recently, in 2023, we rebranded and became PDC Engineering, part of the Plandescil group.

As the company continues to grow, our core values of honesty and integrity run through everything we do. We are future-focused with fresh ideas helping us stay ahead of the curve.

Being employee-owned provides a voice for all staff members to have a say in the business and it's direction, allowing them to take pride in working for a forward-thinking company rooted in traditional family values.

Our primary aim is to provide cost effective engineering solutions to our clients. We pride ourselves on making skilled engineering judgements giving practical, well-thought-through, buildable solutions that transcend computer-generated drawings and generic solutions whilst continuing to invest in the latest technology and software which combined with our experience allows us to offer clients up-to-the-minute advice. With almost 45 years in the industry our extensive knowledge gained means that few situations are new to us, although we fully appreciate that each new project will have its own set of unique circumstances, which we are well placed to be able to tackle head-on.
